Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScrapeSpace (the "Platform"), a browser automation service operated by an independent developer based in the United States. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

  • You may use ScrapeSpace to describe data extraction tasks in plain English. Our AI agent navigates target websites in a real browser to extract the data you describe and returns it as structured results.
  • Successful runs may produce reusable automation scripts that can be replayed without re-running the AI agent.
  • All usage must comply with applicable laws and the terms of service of the websites you target. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of automation on third-party services complies with their respective terms.
  • You agree not to use the service for abusive, malicious, or unauthorized scraping, credential stuffing, denial-of-service activity, or to extract personal data of others without lawful basis.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that pose a risk to the platform or violate these Terms.

2. Script Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership over the scripts you create and execute using the Platform. We do not claim ownership or reuse user scripts for any purpose.

3. Account and Access

  • You must create an account to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining account security.
  • We may suspend access to accounts that threaten platform integrity, abuse the service, or breach these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The Platform is offered as a subscription with multiple plan tiers. Each plan defines a quota (number of saved automations, AI runs per month, replay runs per month, concurrency, and maximum job duration). Detailed limits per tier are listed on our pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically on the billing interval you selected (monthly or annual) until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the Billing section of your account; access continues through the end of the current paid period.
  • All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Some account information is shared with Stripe for payment processing.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial-month usage. If a job fails due to a platform error (e.g., infrastructure outage), the corresponding usage will not be deducted from your monthly quota.
  • Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, except in the case of upgrades, which take immediate effect with prorated charges via Stripe.

5. Service Availability

The service is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Platform at any time, without prior notice.

6. Data and Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, including account information, script logs, and usage analytics.

7. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Any legal disputes shall be resolved under U.S. jurisdiction.

9. Username Rights

We reserve the right to reclaim, restrict, or remove usernames that:

  • Are closely associated with ScrapeSpace's branding, staff, or operations (e.g. "scrapespace", "admin", "support")
  • Impersonate others or suggest false affiliation
  • Violate our content guidelines or are otherwise deemed inappropriate

If a username is reclaimed, we will attempt to notify the affected user and may offer a suitable alternative.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScrapeSpace and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, third-party bans, or automation failures.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
